Sarah Hart Munro is a Vermont Artist. She lives in Montpelier with her family. She has exhibited nationally and is represented at many Vermont Galleries, including: The Artisans Gallery in Waitsfield VT, Northeast Kingdom Artisans Guild in St. Johnsbury, VT, Phoenix Rising in Montpelier and Art On Main in Bristol, VT. Sarah is well known for her invention of "Silk Scapes" — prints of silk paintings which are designed to be hung in a window. Sarah is also an artist of acrylic and oil mediums. She studied Oil Painting with the late James Gahagan (from the Hans Hoffman abstract expressionist colorist era) while a student at Goddard College, where she received her BA in ‘77. Sarah also attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston MA.
